
Develop partnerships and provide resources to enhance capabilities of Native American community members and researchers to work together on projects that address the health disparity needs identified by Native American communities in Montana.
Increase the number of Native American college and university students who are actively engaged in Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) on health issues of their home communities.
Provide mentoring and support for CBPR projects that address needs identified by Native American communities in Montana.
Projects must address one or more of the following: cardiovascular disease, stroke, cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, infant mortality, mental health, obesity, lung and liver disease, psoriasis, scleroderma, and glomerular injury.
